An advocate for individuals who have learning disabilities for over 25 years. As a trained practitioner, I use the MBTI Personality Indicator to start my diagnosis. My job is to deliver educational consultant services (as an independent contractor) with schools districts, from a psychological perspective using child development strategies, to help helping parents, teachers and staff with intervention strategies for children at risk and also children with special needs. I am a faculty trainer, from a psychological perspective, for interns and other independent contractors for Montessori and public schools in special needs and regular education curriculum. I conduct quantitative and qualitative assessment: behavioral observation, peer/standardized and diagnostic achievement tests, cognitive tests of ability, perceptual-motor tests, and measures of social and emotional functioning – K-12 environment to affect learning objectives, modifications and changes in teaching strategies that reinforce the concept that learning effectively with visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and gustatory systems in mind.. A most important factor for instruction is to be healthy in both the mind and body. Using proven psychological techniques, I present the fundamentals of health and wellness to prevent and/or decrease the effects of learning disabilities and abnormal/maladaptive behaviors. Parents learn to be leaders of healthy practices to prevent obesity and learning disabilities.
